Music on the Bay 2017– FAQs

Absolutely NO coolers (either small personal or larger), outside liquor or food is permitted at the event.  Bag check at entrance gate.
CASH IS KING! – ATM Available in Whiskey Joe’s Restaurant in the lobby ($4 service fee per transaction). 


Event parking is available at Waterford Plaza , 7650 Courtney Campbell Causeway, Tampa, FL and is located on Rocky Point Drive across from Shriners Headquarters for $5. Shuttles run from Waterford Plaza to Whiskey Joe's on a continuous basis.   Beach parking will also be available after 6pm on Friday in the lot closest to Whiskey Joe’s. There may be a charge for beach parking.

Beach Gear - You may bring a beach chair to the event. There is 24 hour security available throughout the weekend.  No canopy or pop-up tents. Space on the beach is reserved for chairs.  A Limited number of beach umbrellas may be used, but away from the stage.

Thursday – 4 pm – 9 pm 
Friday – 9 am - 9 pm
Saturday – 9 am – 9 pm
Sunday – 10 am - 4 pm
Registration is non-transferable - a photo ID is required for registration.
Event is 21 or older
Proper beach attire is required (no thongs or string bikinis) You will be escorted out.


No pets allowed on Whiskey Joe’s Barefoot Beach Bar area.  

Raffles -
50/50 Raffle - $1 tickets Thursday evening, drawing at 9 pm.  
Chinese Auctions each day, drawings will take place, Friday & Saturday at 8:30 pm and Sunday at 3:30 pm.  Winning Raffle Numbers will be posted at 9 pm and 4 pm respectively.  Chinese Auction tickets are 25 for $20.
Special Raffles held on Friday & Saturday at 8:30 pm and Sunday at 3:30 pm, or 5 tickets for $20. Credit cards accepted.
Weekend Raffle - winner will be announced on Sunday at 3:30pm. Winner does not need to be present to win.

MOTB Merchandise is sold by Whiskey Joe’s – Cash and Credit Cards
Beverages – All beverages must be paid for with cash or credit card.  You will not be permitted to run a tab. No outside alcohol.
Transportation – During the event days and at the end of each night, multiple shuttles and limos will transport attendees to and from the event hotels, Best Western, Chase Suites, Sailport Waterfront and garage.  Tipping is encouraged!

Shuttle service is for transport, to and from hotels (Bay Harbor Hotel, Chase Suites and Sailport Waterfront) and Whiskey Joe’s only.

Tampa International Airport is approximately 5 miles from host hotels and Whiskey Joe's.
